Effortless Dress

Every woman wants shop effortlessly and to  look as if her clothes where especially made for her.   Through the use a few simple tips , you can find a dress that will make you feel as if it  where  made just for you:

1.  Know your dress size

Before shopping for your perfect dress, it is important that you measure yourself and know your dress size.  Your dress size measurements are taken to determine which size will provide the closest fit based on the designer’s  dress size chart.

Measure your chest at the fullest point of your bust line

Wrap the tape measure around your waistline to determine your waist size.  Your  waistline is the thinnest point on your waist, just above your hip bones

Take your hip measurement at the fullest point of your hips

2.  Dress for your body type
Make sure you know what flatters your body type and identify your key assets.  If you have great legs, get a dress that reveals your  calves.  Know which fabrics and textures are most flattering.  For example: Shiny, bulky, or stiff textures can make you appear bigger than you really are.   A dress with detail around the bust can accentuate and make a smaller bust look  more proportional to your body.  Find a dress that’s comfortable.    Make sure it fits. Zip it, button it or clasp it all the way up while you are in  the dressing room.  If you understand what your present body shape and proportions are and know a few style guidelines for your shape you are well on your way to looking your best.  Finding the perfect dress is a whole lot easier when you know your body type.

3.  Determine your style

Style is very personal. It has nothing to do with fashion.  Fashion can change very quickly but, style can last forever.  In the end it not about buying more clothes, but  buying the right ones. Ask yourself , what are you most comfortable in?( a long or short dress, knits, bright colors, etc…)  Be honest. Which garments in your closet do you really like. Write down what works and what doesn’t work.  Take a good look at what you already own and assess your buying pattern.
4.  Determine your budget
Determine your gown budget Your budget is a critical factor to consider before hitting the shops.  Compare prices at several different stores before purchasing.  Browse magazines and website searching for ideas of dresses that suit your style. Therefore its important to take your time and comparison shop in order to find  the best prices possible.
5.  Come armed with the proper gear:

A strapless bra or bustier

Control-top panty hose (gowns go on more smoothly, especially the  often-too-small sample sizes)

A slip if you plan to try on sheaths or slip dresses

Shoes with approximately the same heel height you plan to wear with your dress

The appropriate undergarments while you try on dresses will give you a better idea of the  final look.   A woman should feel sexy under her clothes, besides, what you wear  next to your skin is the foundation of an amazing outfit

Give yourself plenty of time to look and try on different styles of dresses.  Shopping for a dress should be fun.  Bring  along a friend.

Monochromatic Color Can Help You Appear Thinner

Dressing in  monochromatic or all one color produces a strong unbroken vertical line that elongates the body and helps  you to  appear  thinner.
