Black Girls Rock!, started by Beverly Bond is an amazing mentoring organization geared towards empowering young girls of color and honoring the strengths, talents and achievements of women of color. Tracee Ellis Ross, who stars on the BET sitcom \”Reed Between the Lines,\” co-hosted the awards show with actress Regina King. These are two posivtive and inspirng role models, who prove that black girls really do rock!
