Who would have thought that Berry, Black Orchid, Burgundy, Plum or Bordeaux would be all the rage 2014 spring and summer. This dark  colored lip stick trend kicked off on the 2014 fashion runways and it was seen again on the red carpet of the 2014 Golden Globe awards.  Yes, we are used to seeing red with formal attire(they almost go hand in hand) but, we\’ the deep berry mouth with an almost gothic feel, is a new trend.  I must admit these pouts where looking fierce! The deep colored lips add a dose off drama. You too get to go for the deep bold lips like the celebrities but, while wearing your skinny jeans or  a sundress. Why should Rihanna work the deep bold lip look alone?

 

Go for the dramatic look,  but, here are a few tips to keep in mind:

 

–  Get a shade that complements you.

–  Apply the color with a brush to keep it neat and you decide how deep you want the color to be.

–  Use lip primer to get the dark color to stay on longer.
