Refresh, Revitalize and Rejuvenate are words that most women love to hear. Skin that has a glow tends to look younger and healthier. Do you want to know how to brighten a dull complexion? You can get a clear and luminous complexion with foods straight from your kitchen. Would you believe you can loosen dead skin cells and encourage cell turnover turn-over with Pumpkin pie filling? It\’s true, this technique has been used by Japanese women for centuries. Pumpkin pie filling is loaded with alpha hydroxy acids, which are known exfoliating enzymes. These enzymes digest and breakdown dead skin cells, leaving your skin looking rejuvenated and glowing. It\’s so natural you can eat it too!! Here\’s how you can get a healthy glow using pumpkin pie filling:
- Cleanse with a cleanser based on your skin type
- Just apply a table spoon of Pumpkin pie filling all over your face
- Leave it on for five minutes then rinse well
- Be sure use a toner
- Then moisturize and wallah! Rejuvenation!
What do you use to exfoliate? We wanna know….be sure to leave a comment.

This product looks delicious! I would love to try it on my skin!
Try it and let me know what you think!
That looks good enough to eat! is it gentle? I use an over the counter exfoliator, but it is a bit too harsh.
It is good enough to eat!
I love “homemade” products and this one looks yummy. I can’t wait to try it. I use brown sugar as an exfoliant.
I’m starting to learn more about using natural products for hair and skin so I can’t wait to try this one out. My skin gets really dry so this looks like it would help retain moisture. Thanks!
Be sure to moisturize after you mask. Tracey
You learn something new every single day. Totally awesome. I am very particular about my skin. some of my dear fb Sisters dug up my photo here on fb and as u can see, no foundation. I have never used anything except the shadows and lipsticks. When I mask, which is not very often, my ingredients are from my kitchen. Thanks for sharing. Plain ole H2O is my best friend.
That’s exactly why I love natural!
Wow — never heard of this before — I’m going to have to give it a try! I’m always looking for natural alternatives to skin care!
Enjoy!
I never knew that. I’ll have to give it a try 🙂
Let me know what you think.Tracey
Pumpkin pie filling? WOW. I have a feeling that might break me out; i have very sensitive skin.
It’s a natural exfoliant and natural is a good place to start for sensitive skin. Try a patch test first an area not as noticeable and for your first mask you may want to start out a shorter perid of time and work your way up in the future. Let me know ho it works. Tracey
Who would have thought that Pumpkin Pie filling had another use? I will have to try this.
Be sure to let me know what you think!
Pumpkin pie! (My silly self thinks about Pulp Fiction!)
Seriously, there is a sale at the Acme. I’m totally getting some!
